Nikki’s Group:

Caz, Cerys and I would like to introduce you to our wonderful group of competition squad gymnasts. Over the course of the week we train together for 9 hours during which time we practice our partnership balances and dynamic moves.

We also work on specific base and top skills, individual skills, flexibility and conditioning. Sunday mornings we start the session running; improving our cardio fitness so that we can confidently perform our routines. A special mention should go to Mia our choreographer, who works tirelessly to make up and improve our routines.

As a group the gymnasts spend a lot of time tumbling; working on round-off flics, free cartwheels and tuck back somersaults. This is something that all our gymnasts are enthusiastic about as they are keen to improve their skills. All gymnasts competed in a friendly competition in December 2021 and they are now busy training for competitions in July!
