This FAQ page provides answers to common questions, and we hope will guide you through the process of joining Falcon Gymnastics Club, from how to make payment, to what your gymnast should to wear whilst at gym.
Please follow the step-by-step guide below:
Create an account by clicking the “Login / Register Nowâ€Â button. (Please note: all bookings must be completed via the website.)
Once you have registered an account, please log in to your members area and click “Make a Bookingâ€.
Please now join a waiting list for your preferred session. If you would like to join more than one waiting list, you are very welcome to do so.
Once a place becomes available at your chosen session you will be notified by email. Your email will provide a link for you to book and pay for your sessions.
Once you have successfully completed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email from Falcon and a receipt from Stripe (our online payment partner).
Your first session will be deemed a trial to ensure you enjoy gymnastics with Falcon. Should you decide not to continue, please email mel@falcongym.com within 3 days who will arrange a refund less £10 to cover the session attended.
Once you have attended your first session, you will need to become a member of British Gymnastics (BG). Membership to British Gymnastics is mandatory. For more information, please see “Become a member of BGâ€.
All 50-minute classes have a rolling termly subscription of £148 per gymnast.
Our 90-minute recreational classes are £193 per gymnast. Pre-school classes are £133 per gymnast.
The above prices are per term, which over 3 terms represent 36 weeks. (Please note: some individual terms may be longer or shorter, but over the 3 school terms they will always equal 36 weeks).
If you book prior to the start of the term, we offer 2 payment options: To pay the termly fee in full which is £148, £193, or £133, or you can split the payment over 2 instalments (this would incur an additional charge from our service provider and therefore the first payment would be £78, £99, or £70, with the second instalment also being £78, £99, or £70, payable about 5 weeks into the term).
If you reenrol once the term has started, we kindly ask that payment for classes is made in full.
If you are a new member and are allocated a place part-way through the term, the booking system will automatically adjust your fees according to the point in the term at which you are starting.
Yes, we are delighted to offer discounts if taking part in the following activities: General gymnastics & Pre-school gymnastics. All other sessions are excluded from this discount. Three children attending any one of the classes above at the same time: 10% off combined total. Four children attending any one of the classes above at the same time: 15% off combined total. One child attending two or more classes as listed above: 10% off combined total. Unfortunately, the system is unable to process these discounts at this time, therefore we would ask you to make the full payment for each class / child, then email mel@falcongym.com, who will be able to arrange a credit accordingly.
Once you have registered your child onto a class, you will be given priority to re-enrol for subsequent terms prior to spaces being filled from our waiting list.
Yes! Please sign up for your class and make payment. Your first session will be deemed a trial to ensure you enjoy gymnastics with Falcon. Should you decide not to continue, please email mel@falcongym.com within 3 days who will arrange a refund less £10 to cover the session attended. If your notification to cancel is received beyond the 3 days’ notice period, we will deduct a further £10 for the up-and-coming session as we will not have had sufficient time to re-fill your place.
Waiting lists do vary depending on the venue you choose. We will do our upmost to offer you a place as soon as possible. If you can be flexible on days, times, and venues we will be able to accommodate you sooner. Once a space is available you will be notified by email.
Yes – Please contact mel@falcongym.com, who will try to accommodate your requirements. There is an administration fee of £10 payable, and please do bear in mind that the other session or day you wish to move to might be fully booked.
We require a minimum of one month’s notice of cancellation. This must be received by email to mel@falcongym.com. Verbal cancellations cannot be accepted. On receipt of your cancellation, Falcon Gymnastics Club will refund your payment less sessions attended and less 4 weeks’ notice. Please note: Your gymnast is more than welcome to continue to attend sessions during the notice period. Once your notice period has expired there is nothing further for you to do, although you might want to retain your login details just in case at some point in time you want to re-join Falcon Gymnastics Club or attend our Holiday camps.
Due to the nature of holiday camps, and the fact we operate outside our normal term time, we operate a strict no refund policy for any cancellation for any reason less than 24 hours prior to your gymnast attending as the club will have already committed to coaches and venues. If you need to cancel your place at any Holiday camp prior to 24 hours’ notice please email mel@falcongym.com.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session. Children should be collected promptly at the end of their session. If you are running late, we will keep your child inside the gym until you arrive. If possible, please notify the Session Leader if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late.
Falcon Gymnastics Club invites parents to stay for their child’s first session. This allows you to see how the club operates and provides reassurance for your child. After their first session, Falcon Gymnastics Club does not allow spectators in the gym during the sessions. This is purely for safety reasons. We do hold “come & watch sessions†at the end of each term, and we hope you will come along and see the progress your gymnast is making. If you have any questions regarding your child and how they’re getting in the session, please talk to the Session Leader who will be happy to help, or contact one of our Welfare Officers.
All children like to receive recognition for their achievements. Falcon Gymnastics Club is pleased to offer two awards schemes covering individual floor skills and apparatus. On passing an award, your child’s will receive a ‘Blue Slip’ to provide confirmation of their success and details about how you can purchase certificate and pin/cloth badge, which is entirely discretionary. If you have any questions at all about the Award schemes, please speak with your Session Leader either at the beginning or end of your child’s session, they will be more than happy to help.
Yes – Please contact mel@falcongym.com, who will try to accommodate your requirements but please do bear in mind that the other session or day you wish to move to might be fully booked.
If your child is unable to attend a session, for example due to illness or holidays, you do not need to inform us that they will miss their class. However, we would be grateful if you could let us know if they are going to miss more than two weeks in a row. Please note, we are unable to offer refunds or rearrange alternative sessions in these circumstances.
Falcon strives to meet the needs and aspirations of all gymnasts and offers a variety of classes for all abilities.
For those gymnasts aged 8+ who would like a longer session, we offer 90 minute classes on a Monday & Saturday.
For our most able gymnasts, Falcon has a large competition group comprising several squads from our Foundation squad through to our elite Competition squads. Entry to a squad is by invitation only.
We offer a discount for gymnasts attending multiple weekly classes. You may also have a younger child who would enjoy our Pre-School sessions. Whatever you would like to explore, please visit our class pages for further information.

All members of Falcon Gym Club must have appropriate insurance. This is a mandantory requirement for anyone wishing to take part in the sport. For insurance purposes, we are unable to allow any gymnast to take part in any session (with the exception of the initial taster session) unless insurance cover is in place. Once you have joined Falcon, we will arrange your child’s insurance cover on your behalf with IGA on receipt of a one-off payment for the year.
At Falcon Gymnastics Club, the safety and wellbeing of our members is paramount and we have a team of experienced Welfare Officers. To view our policies please see the “Our Policies’ page of our website.
During the school holidays we run holiday camps for children of all abilities. Please see the ‘Our Classes’ page for more information. If you have a birthday coming up soon, why not have a party hosted by us?
If the venue is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, or Falcon deems it necessary to close for the safety and wellbeing of its’ members and staff as a consequence of unexpected events i.e., extreme weather conditions, unplanned maintenance due to the building not being safe, or any other emergency, and as a result we are unable to run a session, we will unfortuantely be unable to reimburse this session.
