What a wonderful day we had at Bedford University on Saturday 6th January 2024.
100 gymnasts aged 5 to 18 years from our Acro competition squads, and our young preparation squad had been working over the last few months on our Falcon Best of British Display. On the Friday we had a full rehearsal at the University as this was the first time we had performed at this venue.
Saturday saw a packed audience at both afternoon and evening performances and our gymnasts didn’t disappoint – we had two truly amazing shows!
Display pieces were choreographed to music from Queen, Elton John, Adele, The Beatles, West End musicals, and many more iconic British soloists and bands.
The variety of dance, tumbling, acrobatics and blockwork performed was a delight, but then added to this the back screen VT and lighting made the display awe-inspiring and thrilling to watch.
