Following a successful prelims for Falcon Gymnastics Club back in March, no less than nine partnerships took to the floor again. This time, as well as representing Falcon our gymnasts were selected to be a part of the East regional team heading to Southampton, taking part in the Inter-regional finals – a national competition across the 30th April and 1st May.Â
The competition had clubs from across the country, all having done well in their own region’s prelims. This made for an extremely high-level competition, with all partnerships seeking the medal positions by showcasing their hard work.
Our partnerships gave it their all and as a club, Falcon contributed three sets of medals to regional team’s performance with two sets of golds and a bronze from the following partnerships:
Grade 2 MG – 1st place 🥇
Grade 3 MxP – 1st place 🥇
IDP2 WG – 3rd place 🥉
National level competitions don’t stop there for Falcon. Four partnerships are heading off to Stoke-on-Trent this weekend (13th – 15th May) for the NDP finals. Falcon has again been successful in having its gymnasts selected to be part of the East regional team.
