Another fantastic competition, and huge congratulations to Falcon Gymnastics Club’s elite gymnasts. Since September 2024, our competition group has truly pushed the boundaries and raised the bar. Our gymnasts have been winning medals at almost every event they enter, and the King Edmund Championships in Bristol was no exception.
Some of the best gymnasts in the country assembled for what was one of the highest-quality championships of the year—a key event used to select gymnasts for Great Britain trials. Falcon took two pairs and two trios from our outstanding squad. The team had a fantastic time in Bristol, soaking up the high-level competition and the friendly atmosphere shared by competitors from across the UK and Europe.
The Results
Our Mixed Pair, Lucas & Dottie, who have been training tirelessly for this event, performed outstandingly in front of a massive audience. Their hard work paid off with a well-deserved Silver Medal!
Our Grade 5 Mixed Pair, Kayden & Kyla, also worked incredibly hard leading up to the event. In a very tight field, they secured a fantastic Bronze Medal. Falcon is incredibly proud of the determination and success shown by both pairs.
Across the weekend, we also had two Trios compete in some of the most competitive categories, with over 40 groups taking part. Maisie, Maya & Beth, and Lucy, Maria & Ava were never phased, performing their two routines with poise and confidence.
Our coaches couldn’t have been more excited watching them execute their routines—congratulations to both trios on your outstanding performances!
