Falcon’s Elite Competition Squad competed at the weekend in the lead up to the Christmas holidays.
The Eastern Regional Championships, held at Luton, is the final event of a busy competition year for Falcon; but was a great showcase for what we can achieve in 2025.
In September, the Squad worked through the disappointing departure of one of their coaches, but the gymnasts showed great determination to go out and perform, and each and every one of our partnerships should be very proud of how well they competed.
Falcon fielded, by far, the biggest team with 26 partnerships in attendance along with three outstanding judges and five coaches to ensure every detail was seen to.
The competition, as expected, was outstanding regarding the quality and mix of men’s and women’s gymnasts competing. What a great opportunity for Team Falcon to compete alongside such outstanding performers from across our Region.
By close of play on Sunday Falcon, had achieved 7 golds, 3 Silvers & 1 bronze in unbelievably “hotly contested†sections of the competition.
All gymnasts should be over the moon with these results given the standard of competition and the topsy turvy start to the new term.
